Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park has a total area of about 98 square kilometers or 61,300 Rai. The geographical feature consists of steep limestone mountain, coastline with the coastal plains, a lane beach and shallow water, including the limestone islands located near the coast. It is a habitat for a variety of bird, which are abundant during November to February. Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park was declared a national park on June 28, 1966 as the 4th national park and the first marine national park in Thailand.
